When you have a Mercedes McLaren SLR and a lot of cash to spare, we could think of more tasteful things to do, but flamboyant Swiss businessman Ueli Anliker decided to use it for this extravagant creation.
Making its first appearance at Tuning World Bodensee last year, the vehicle is now named the ‘Anliker McLaren SLR 999 Red Gold Dream'. Anliker spent a total of 30,000 man hours and £3.5 million. Anliker states the power unit under the hood started with a maximum output of 640bhp (480 kW / 650Php) which suggests this model was once the SLR 722 edition. It has now been boosted to 999bhp (745 kW / 985 PS) and has a top speed of 210mph (338kph). Ueli Anliker will not sell the exclusive model for anything less than £7 million (€8.2 million / $10.8 million).

Audi S8 Superior Grey Edition by Anderson Germany

Like a fine wine, some vehicles get more exclusive with age, and it seems the Audi S8 (D3) is already making us nostalgic. As one of only two S car to have a V10 engine under its hood, the tuning market is starting to look its way. Only two years since production ended, used S8s are finding their way to new owners for the second or third time. And those who are picking up these vehicles are most likely to be much younger and tuner friendly than the original folks who bought the vehicles new. As a result, Anderson Germany has recognized this trend and has put together a new tuning program for the aluminum chassis vehicle. Dubbed the Superior Grey Edition, the Lamborghini derived 5.2-liter V10 with 450 PS (444 bhp / 331 kW) gets a reprogrammed ECU and new exhaust for an output increase of 58 PS (57 bhp / 43 kW). On the outside, the body receives a matte grey wrap, carbon fiber grille surround, full body kit with LED DRLs, gloss black 22-inch wheels with Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 tires, vented fenders and carbon fiber mirror housings. Inside, wood trim is replaced with carbon fiber and the upholstery is redone in quilted leather and Alcantara.
